Web Design & Development

Websites built to convert and to rank

A good-looking website that nobody finds, or that visitors leave without enquiring, is an expensive brochure. We design and build sites that load fast, explain clearly, rank in search and make it easy to get in touch.

In short

A conversion-focused website is one designed around a single job: turning the right visitors into enquiries or sales. In practice that means a fast, mobile-first build, one clear page per service, visible prices or price guidance, trust evidence (reviews, credentials, named people), short contact forms that actually deliver leads, and analytics that show which pages produce enquiries.

We start with what the site has to achieve: booked consultations, quote requests, online sales. Every design decision is tested against that goal. Search engine requirements are built in from day one: clean URLs, one page per service, structured data, and speed.

We build on WordPress when you need to edit content yourself, WooCommerce for online shops, and lightweight static or custom builds when speed and security matter most. You own everything: domain, hosting, code and content.

FAQ

Web Design: common questions

How long does a new website take?

A typical small-business site with 10–25 pages takes six to ten weeks from sign-off to launch. Most of the time goes on content, so the sooner we get your information, the sooner we launch.

Will we lose our Google rankings if we redesign?

Not if the migration is handled properly. We map every old URL to its new equivalent with 301 redirects, keep content that ranks, and monitor Search Console after launch. Most ranking losses after a redesign come from skipping this step.

Do you use WordPress?

When it suits you, yes. WordPress is a good fit if your team will edit pages often. For sites that rarely change, a lightweight static build is faster and more secure. We'll recommend one and explain why.

Who owns the website?

You do: domain, hosting account, code, design files and content. We'll never hold your site hostage.
